REFUGEE CAMP MEDICAL CENTRE

I've had this project rattling around in my head for a while,
Don't know if it will ever get off the ground,
but I'd like to get it to a stage where it works as well as I can get it to;
then hand it on to a higher authority !!

My aim's were to make it
  • easily recognisable,
  • modular
  • hygienic
  • secure
  • collapsible / relocatable?
I don't think one building is suitable to deal with large numbers,
but one could serve as a specialist service area?
or several setup slightly differently for general use?
ie one  for reception triage, which would then send patients on to other buildings for :
one complete building for dispensary,
one for procedures
etc
etc

I'd love to get your thoughts

Dual / Multiple Occupancy,

Future potential for Dual / Multiple Occupancy,

With the decrease in the average number of inhabitants and the continued large size of new dwellings, it makes sense to design new homes with the future potential for Dual / Multiple Occupancy,

Not all floor plans lend themselves to this but with good placement of guest rooms & ensuites / sitting rooms some very livable designs can be achieved.

Thinking of Extending?

Thinking of Extending

Click

plans2go

how much your extension will cost

You want to find out how much your extension will cost before getting a full set of construction documentation and your builder wants a set of plans before he can do an estimate, Which comes first?

There’s no accurate way of finding out how much your extension is likely to cost without a good set of drawings to demonstrate what you’re after.

Our service will design your extension to a concept stage to suit your specific needs and provide you with a set of proposed planning drawings for the extension at a scale of 1:100 so you can demonstrate exactly what you want to any builders providing you with estimates.

We will also provide you with your site map at a scale of 1:200 which will always be a document required by Building Certification Services.

If you do require a full design service once you are happy that your extension is affordable, we will upgrade your package and provide all of the architectural documentation required for a building application.

Extensions & Renovations

I specialise in Extensions &

Renovations for several reasons

  • A thorough site measure with the assistance of a retired master builder ensures we understand the way your home was built & what is possible.
  • Your design brief is incorporated into the original floor plan to achieve a seamless addition to your residence
  • The most efficient & economical construction methods will be suggested
  • Extensive experience in structural design of housing has given me the knowlege to anticipate construction issues before it is too late
  • I also work closely with building certifier to minimise town planning issues.
  • I can supply contact with builders who are very experienced with Extensions & Renovations

It takes several years to become a competent building designer for new housing, however it takes many more to become familiar with the complexities of extending onto older buildings.
This 1970 Jennings home is a good example.

With a hardwood frame & pitched roof it was hardly a standard Brick Veneer.

The design process & challenge of creating the new home whilst working in with the existing structure is a challenge for any building designer.
